Filipino: As a Resilient Citizen.

Philippines is a country in southern east of Asia known for its unique features, different types of delicacies across the country and famous beautiful tourist spots. Across this country, there are over 100 million residents and divided into 3 big sectors of land mass, the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. These given descriptions are just some of the famous views in the Philippines but what lies inside this country? What makes this Country special? When we talk about Philippines, we view them as someone who are kind, talented, perfect and disciplined but in reality, Philippines have a lot of flaws politically and sometimes ethically which can’t be avoided but we need to consider all of this malice’s as a sign to change for the betterment of the society and the country.

As said, what makes this Country Special? When we talk about this topic, we can say a lot such as the beautiful islands and natural resources but disregarding this given examples, we are left with the citizens. Filipino’s have a very unique and expressive personality, they vary in what or where they have grown or what moral’s they have grown used to. When we talk about personality there is one thing that almost all Filipino’s can relate to, being resilient. Filipino’s are very lenient on what they do especially when an obstacle comes, they tend to fight back and never accept defeat which makes their will power stronger and to overcome a difficulty. Some says Filipinos are just like a Bamboo stick in a windy and stormy day, no matter how hard and difficult a challenge is, as the bamboo sway and dance with the wind, it ‘still stays intact because as long as there’s hope and root to stand for, we can stand and overcome any obstacle. With this personality, it can help us with many things such as improving our country and make better improvements such as making progress in social issues, environmental issues, and global issues. With the help of us resonating together and forming an alliance, we can resolve our problems.

By the sentence “Towards a more resilient Philippines” which states that we as one should help each other towards a hopeful and bright Philippines. We should show our capabilities and bring up our abilities to be resilient in any situation, even in the greatest despair or the saddest nights. We need to learn and accept our worries, be active and overcome everything by not giving up.
