Vigan is rich in historical characters and legacy, and it is home to a number of tourist attractions left by the Spaniards. Our city was one of the areas in the Philippines where the foreign country of Spain conquered. Although there was some negative in the invasion, it nevertheless provided us with certain advantages and benefits that forced us to adapt to a foreign culture and gave us an open mind to develop and keep the advantages that the Spaniards provided. Vigan City is also known as the "7 Wonders City," which has piqued the interest of those who enjoy traveling, enticing them to visit. Vigan not only preserves numerous historic events, but it also preserves riches such as delicacies and cultures that flourish in the city of Vigan.
Vigan is a place where festivals are well-prepared because it is a historical visual representation that we Filipinos and other countries do. It is an important factor that goes well with our traditions and adapted cultures like how Spaniards colonialized the Philippines causing a change of our religion. Colonizers have 2 factors of benefit for us, it’s either a bad outcome or a good outcome and luckily, we got the good benefits which improved our economy and became a starting point for us to grow where we are.
